Our Mission

Breathe Coffee House uses world class coffee, perfectly roasted and prepared, as a tool to facilitate dialogue and create connections within our community.

We are a “coffee house” because every person who walks through our doors should feel like they are home.  We are committed to serving people from young to old, from all walks of life, and from all faiths and backgrounds and to be a place where they can catch their breath and know that someone cares.

 Our Vision

We believe that through intentional dialogue we grow in understanding and empathy which improves our relationships, our families, our community, and our world. Our job at Breathe is to give you a great cup of coffee and provide an environment that helps you escape the world and focus on what really matters which empowers you to have authentic conversations with people. We exist at Breathe to learn how to love everyone who walks through the door and to help them do the same with everyone in their life.

The Problem

Breathe wants to deal with the problem of loneliness, mental health issues, disconnection and our inability to talk to people different from ourselves. People are hurting and we all struggle to know what we can do. People don’t know who they can talk to and many don’t feel capable of helping other people because they don’t think they are good enough. Our nation is becoming more divided. Our churches are shrinking and aren’t dealing with many of the problems in our society. We don’t know how to relate or talk with people who disagree with us. We don’t communicate effectively very often, especially about things that are important or things that we struggle with or disagree about.

Our Hope

To inspire and empower people to be intentional with something as simple as coffee, to help us all engage in one another’s lives, and realize that as we connect with people, we inspire others to do the same. Breathe actively works to create dialogue and build bridges between businesses, non-profits, schools, government agencies, churches, and service organizations.
